Handcrafted

Ceramic is a widely used material to manufacture urns. Specially selected ingredients are mixed into a ceramic workable mass. Using this clay, the artists shape the urn, which is then covered with various colours of enamel. The end result is a unique product with a colourful character.

In the light

This urn features LED lighting, which can be easily switched on with a discreetly placed switch. The burning light symbolises the eternal memory of a loved one.

Ceramics

On the basis of a model drawing, a plaster model is made, which is then used as the basic mould for all ceramic products. The various models are cast from the casting mould and then laid out to dry.

After drying, the surface is levelled and the urn is fired at 900°C. Then the glaze is applied and the urn is fired again, but at 1,050°C.
