As the name of this special urn suggests, the two arches symbolise two arms. Both arms are suitable for ash storage. Each of the two arms has enough space for the ashes of one adult. It is also possible to choose, for example, to place an object dear to the person in the second space.

The urn is manufactured by hand by our specialists using the best materials. The delivery time of the Cor-Ten urn is therefore 5 to a maximum of 7 weeks. We know from experience that in most cases the urn can be shipped earlier. But to avoid disappointment, we communicate a delivery time of 5 to a maximum of 7 weeks.

Filling the urn

Filling and assembling the Cor-Ten Urn

All accessories for filling and sealing the urn are included. The Cor-Ten urn is sealed with high-strength double-sided sealing tape that can be loaded with very high tensile strength. Filling the Cor-Ten urn is easy. Proceed as follows:

1. Empty the plastic bag provided into the urn and keep a portion outside.
2. Use the protruding part as a funnel and pour the ashes into this.
3. Seal the plastic bag with the tyrap provided and insert it completely into the opening of the urn.
4. After this, make sure the internal fitting edge of the urn is well free of dust, grease and moisture. Use the cloth provided for this purpose.
5. Remove the protective film from the lid and carefully place it against the edge of the ash container opening.
6. Close the ash container by pressing the lid into the rim in one movement; a properly closed lid should not protrude above the other material. The bottom is now flat.
7. Press the lid firmly and the urn is closed.

Of course, you can also leave the filling of the urn to the crematorium or funeral director.

You can scatter the ashes loose in the urn or choose to use an ash bag. With ceramic or glass urns, it is wise to use an ash bag in connection with falling or bumping. The urn is made of the highest quality bronze and is therefore very sturdy. The closure is also completely airtight and resistant to high tensile forces. This makes it extremely suitable for placing the ashes loose in the urn.
