Description

The highest quality 316 stainless steel has been used for these urns. This alloy is resistant to all weather conditions and is even seawater resistant.

Delivery time of the urn

The urn is manufactured by hand by our specialists using the best materials. The delivery time of the stainless steel urn is therefore 4 to 6 weeks. We know from experience that in most cases the urn can be shipped earlier. But to avoid disappointment, we communicate a delivery time of 4 to 6 weeks.

Filling the stainless steel urn

All accessories for filling and sealing the urn are included. The stainless steel urn is sealed with high-strength double-sided sealing tape that can be loaded with very high tensile strength.

Filling the stainless steel urn is easy. Proceed as follows:

Put the ash bag provided empty in the urn and keep a portion outside. Not using an ash bag is also possible. In that case, skip steps 1 to 3.
Use the protruding part as a funnel and pour the ashes into this.
Seal the ash bag with the tyrap provided and insert it completely into the opening of the urn.
If the ash bag is not used, it is recommended to use a funnel when pouring to avoid spillage.
After this, make sure the internal fitting edge of the urn is well free of dust, grease and moisture. Use the cloth provided for this purpose.
Remove the protective film from the lid and carefully place it against the edge of the ash container opening.
Close the ash container by pressing the lid into the rim in one movement; a properly closed lid should not protrude above the other material. The bottom is now flat.
Press the lid firmly and the urn is closed.

Of course, you can also leave the filling of the urn to the crematorium or funeral director. Should the urn need to be opened later for any reason, our technicians can do it for you.

Engraving

It is possible to engrave the urn. For engraving, we use etching. Etching is a high-quality and durable technique that allows texts or images on stainless steel to become high-quality. We only do etching (no laser engraving). Laser engravings are not stable, causing texts to fade over time.

For inscription (name and date in a standard font) on the urn, you should count on around 110 euros. Ask about the possibilities at klantenservice@urnencenter.nl. We are happy to help.

Frequently asked questions

What about warranty?
We trust our memorial items. The stainless steel urn is therefore guaranteed for 10 years. All urns come with warranty certificate and filling instructions.

Can I try the item without any obligation?
Yes, we don't bother with that. On all our memorial items, you have a 30-day reflection period. Don't like the memorial item during this period, or want a different format? No problem. You can exchange or return the item within 30 days of your purchase. 100% not good, money back.

Can I scatter the ashes loose in the urn or is an ash bag required?
You can scatter the ashes loose in the urn or choose to use an ash bag. With ceramic or glass urns, it is wise to use an ash bag in connection with falling or bumping. The stainless steel urn is made of the highest quality stainless steel 316 and is therefore very sturdy. The closure is also completely airtight and resistant to high tensile forces. This makes it extremely suitable for placing the ashes loose in the urn.
